Children & School! Adult & College!
The student’s life is getting complex day by day. Students in the twenty-first century are facing many perplex and difficult situations either at school or at college where they have to make wise curricular and other curricular choices, to acquire basic study skills for optimum achievement, adjustment with peers, adapting new environment etc. The extra coaching classes and special classes make them more stressed and pull them down during these skill refinement processes.
We believe that the aim of education is to achieve the fullest possible realisation of possibilities inherent in the individual and Education fosters all aspects of an individual‘s personality. The School/college is the web which plays an eminent role in the learning process where we find, nowadays a gigantic gap in the web for various reasons. Why there is need for counselling in schools and colleges?
Counselling is a very important ingredient in shaping student’s behavior and performance especially in schools/Colleges. Students with various problems in schools need to be addressed.
Counsellors are members of school/college who work for the student’s welfare and support teams.
Nowadays in an educational setting, there are many problematic cases, which need to be handled by a trained counsellor. These problems include; Psychological, Social, Family issues and above all indiscipline; which, if not handled professionally, can lead them to make wrong and ignorant decisions.
Every school must have a full-fledged counselling section. The schools need to invest in counselling as one way of improving the student’s welfare and performance. It is a choice, which all school owners and administrators need to embrace and which is the need of the day.
Counselling is an integral part of education and helps in achieving the goals of education.
Thank you, Enjoy Education, Happy Learning & Sharing!
